Zack 990 is a variation on Ocular Professor commissioned by Joshua Weinberg, who wanted a WordPress theme that really showcased images and video. Inspired by the Boston Globe’s Big Picture, Zack 990 is designed exclusively for photo and video bloggers. This is not a theme for writers, so if your content is more text-based, you might want to check out Oulipo.
As of version 1.1, the footer section of Zack 990 features four columns of widget-ready areas, totally customizable with whichever widgets float your boat. Yup, I just said float your boat.
